Job Description
Opportunity at a Glance:
Join the Village of Orland Park's Summer Recreation and Programming team as a Junior Daycamp Counselor!!

Promote a fun, memorable experience and have a positive impact on the lives of participants in the Tiny Tots Program ranging in age from 3 - 5 years old.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide socialization, songs, art projects and active games.
  • Plan and implement lesson plans and activities for Tiny Tots pre-school participants

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills:

College coursework in elementary education or related field is preferred. Previous experience working with pre-school children is required. Must have a genuine interest in working with pre-school aged children.

  • Orientation begins at the end of May
  • Must be available Four (4)-Days: Monday – Thursday from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm
  • Camp begins in early June and runs through late July
Note: No camp between July 3 - 6.
Compensation & Benefits:
Compensation: $13.00/hr for new hires. Rehires are eligible for higher rate, DOQ.
