About the Role

As a core member of our distribution team, you will be expected to

• Full case packing of product into boxes before it is sent to our customers
• Work in a -20 degree environment to move product from a conveyor and stack onto a pallet
• Work as a team in a fast paced environment to meet departmental minimum requirements for units per hour and accuracy
• Distribution Worker- Flex In this role you will fill in as a Frozen Warehouse Worker (Palletzing and/or Case Packing) as needed.
• Work as a team to support the production of safe, high quality products and team member safety
• Prepare pallets filled with delicious ice cream for the warehouse before it is sent to our customers
• Perform all functions in the distribution warehouse(s) including; loading, checking, lift/jack movement, housekeeping, inventory checks, and QC related procedures.
• Work in our frozen warehouse with your primary duty being a Certified Lift Operator (CLO)
• Work in our frozen warehouse picking orders!
• Operation of all equipment (Hayes Machine) in Packaging Center required for case packing

• Willing to learn and adhere to Department specific Safe Quality Food requirements and Safety Guidelines
• Capable of working as a team in a fast paced environment to meet departmental minimum requirements for units per hour and accuracy

• Flexibility to work daily overtime as needed

Essential Duties

• Ability to use proper lifting/bending techniques from ground level to over the head at times
• All other duties as assigned by supervisor
• Capable of pushing/pulling up to 2000 lbs. for an extended amount of time (on carts, dollies, pallets) within temperatures of -20oF
• Ability to work in an extreme cold environment reaching temperatures below -20oF
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., throughout an 8 hour shift up to 12 hour shift, 3 days a week
• Ability to perform basic math calculations
• Must be able to stand and walk for upwards of 12 miles per shift while maintaining footing on icy/slippery floors
• Successfully complete OSHA certification for powered industrial vehicles

Pay

Base Pay Rate $18.92 / hour - $21.03 / hour

Freezer Premium $1.25 / hour

Shift Differential $0.50 / hour

Certified Lift Operator Premium $1.00 / hour

Heavy Equipment Operator Preimium $0.50 / hour

FLEX Premium $0.25 / hour
