Oversee the installation and maintenance of Street lighting managed by Electric Operations. Model safe behaviors and achieve positive safety results. Monitor construction schedules, budgets, and productivity. Oversee the personal development of associates within the department, both MAST and bargaining Unit. Manage industrial/labor relations matters pertaining to the Underground Construction group. **Job Responsibilities** + Achieve BPU mandated targets for UG facility inspections. Provide effective leadership to department personnel, facilitating the achievement of Balanced Scorecard Targets. + Function as Manager on call during off-hours events and situations and lead storm as well as other restoration efforts - big and small. + Develop and direct the implementation of emergency plans to ensure system integrity and initiate the investigation/reporting of system abnormalities as required. + Maintain and apply working knowledge of PSEG Standards for Business Controls and meet management's expectations for effective internal business controls + Ability to rotate through various Distribution Manager roles throughout Electric Operations + Ability to partner and promote a collaborative environment to work with other groups, department, and Lines of Business to achieve positive overall results for the Company **Job Specific Qualifications** **_Essential:_** •


BS in Engineering or equivalent, extensive experience (7 -10 years) in Electric Distribution field operations •


Knowledge of electric distribution outside plant construction •


Strong working knowledge of the IBEW collective bargaining agreement •


Demonstrated leadership ability and exceptional communication skills. •


Must possess and maintain a valid US driver's license with a safe driving record •


Ability to evaluate, assess, and take a leadership role of solving complex problems, issues, and projects that have an interdependent relationship with other areas of the company •
