Job Description

DISTRIBUTION – FULFILLMENT SPECIALIST
Shift: 5am - 1:30pm
Work Center: Container Loading
Location: Tipton


Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Perform all other related duties as assigned or directed to meet customer needs including working overtime as needed
  • Loading international container orders and properly completing all associated documents
  • Maintenance of product storage locations throughout the distribution center
  • Using FLOW (WMS) to remove and/or add products to container orders
  • Picking, staging, packing and loading domestic orders as time permits
  • Adhere to New Pig’s Safety, Environmental, and Quality standards
  • Using FLOW (WMS) to move, receive, put away, pick, and count finished goods

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Commitment to learning and practicing safe work methods
  • Familiarity or ability to learn operations within the Trend and FLOW computer systems
  • Ability to lift up to 70 lbs occasionally and 10 – 20 lbs consistently
  • Basic math skills for counting accuracy
  • Operating or using stretch wrappers, shrink wrappers and electric material handling equipment
  • Obtaining certification for all material handling equipment
  • Ability to recognize number patterns for item number recognition
  • Proven ability to read, observe and learn processes including completing related forms, documents and data entry screens
  • Attention to detail, accuracy and thoroughness
