Opening in the spring of 2022, Tasty Town Greek Restaurant and Lounge will offer delicious, seasonal and classic recipes including dips with fresh baked pita, bright salads, dolmades and spanakopita, grilled souvlaki and fish along with a beautiful bar featuring signature cocktails.
Job SummaryThe purpose of this job is to clean, sanitize and dry all china, glassware, silverware and other equipment returned to the dish hall station from all parts areas of the restaurant. Responsibilities

• Organizes and places items in trays for washing machine.
• Understands and follows safety and sanitation practices and works with clean and sanitized tools.
• Washes items by hand that will not fit in machine or not intended for automatic wash before drying and returning items to their proper location.
• Reports to work on time.
• Maintains the dish washing station.
• Performs side duties including cleaning vents, scrubbing trash cans, cleaning gum from underneath the tables, detailed cleaning of chairs, ice bins, restrooms, replacing light bulbs, cleaning floors, emptying trash and taking trash to the dumpster.
• Performs duties that require standing, fast movement throughout the kitchen area.
• Complies with all health and safety regulations.
• Helps other employees as needed to ensure thee restaurant meets guest volume and completes assigned side duties.
• Operates washing machine and dries items before returning them to their proper storage location.
