Dishwasher needed for a Richfield, UT restaurant.

The overall responsibility of a dishwasher is you'll own the dishwashing process to make sure that all utensils and service ware are cleaned, sanitized and stocked for all other crew members, which results in dinner running smoothly and our guests returning.

Knowledge/ Technical Expertise

• Monitor dish machine water temperature and chemical usage to ensure sanitary wash cycle.
• Keep dish room clean and organized.
• Assist other employees as needed in cleaning and organizing.
• Handle tableware carefully to prevent breakage and loss.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Bag and haul dish room trash to dumpster at designed times.
• Maintain adequate levels of clean tableware for dining room and kitchen.
• Wash and store all tableware and kitchenware.
• Performs other related duties as assigned by the manager --on -- duty.
• Complete side work for station and shift.
• Keep the dish machine clean and report any functional or mechanical problems immediately.
• Familiar with and practice all company standards related to position
• Load, run and unload dish machine

Appearance/ Uniform

• Black No-Slip/ Oil resistant Grip shoes/ Black Socks
• Shirt provided by the company
• Black Dress Pants (no leggings or jeans)

Work Conditions

• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends and holidays in addition to normal business.

Physical Demand Requirements

• Frequent exposure to cold/ below freezing and high heat temperatures (walk-in refrigerator, freezers, and ovens)
• Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time.
• Frequent hip flexion while walking for all tasks.
• Frequent to continuous need for manual dexterity of both hands (pushing, pulling, handling, gripping, fine finger controls, etc.)
• Frequent reaching above waist, chest and shoulder level as well as and reaching below waist level.
• Continuous standing on hard surfaces for many tasks.
• Bending, squatting, and stooping for cleaning activities throughout the shift.
• Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50 pounds

Starting wage \$10.50 per hour but may be more depending on experience. Hours are up to 32-35 per week, days will be arranged with employer.
