The Disaster Recovery Manager is responsible for the hands-on management of the Company’s Technical Business Resiliency program. This position requires a proven subject matter expert with demonstrated competency in the planning, development, program execution, maintenance and testing of Disaster Recovery, and IT solutions. Work ensures the integrity of the enterprise IT environment to ensure the Company can execute its mission in support of the Corporate Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity plans. The incumbent may serve as a technical expert and be called upon to facilitate business continuity and operational recovery following the occurrence of a disruption of business operations. Work requires collaboration with functional and resource managers associated with information technology services and systems, ensuring uninterrupted operations of these services.


In-depth knowledge of IT concepts, infrastructure and data center technologies is required. Assesses business requirements, identifies mission essential services and systems, and assists with the strategic direction and coordination of enterprise-wide business disaster recovery efforts supporting the business continuity plans. Work with the Corporate Business Continuity team, IT Disaster Recovery teams and Business Units disaster recovery teams understand and bridge recovery gaps. the role includes reviewing existing IT business continuity scenarios, contingencies, and disaster recovery plans and ensuring these plans are documented, maintained, and support current business requirements. Partner with the Business Units’ technical teams to oversee the execution of disaster recovery test plans, report deficiencies, and identify and resolve issues. Develop training and awareness programs and provide training on leading technology solutions. This position will require communication and coordination across the global organization. The Disaster Recovery Manager must demonstrate strong communication and be able to represent corporate DR strategies at the Business Unit IS&T meetings, and security/cyber meetings.


A candidate who could review and critique the existing plans and help analyze the overall DR/BCP approach would be of great value. The successful candidate will be knowledgeable of both the business continuity world as well as the technical side of the disaster recovery side of things to better fill the gaps in knowledge for both teams

What you'll do


  • Collaborate with teammates and lead to ensure delivering everything by the deadline.
  • Work on UV packing while taking in consideration the customization features in the engine.
  • Rework the topology and optimize low poly model
  • Create PBR textures in Substance Painter.
  • Sculpt high poly characters with ZBrush, Marvelous Designer, modeling softwares.
  • Bake the different maps of the PBR workflow from high poly to low poly.
  • Integrate low poly model from 3Ds Max to the engine.
  • Add details with in-engine shaders.
Qualifications


  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Relevant Disaster Recovery, Business Continuity, Risk or Audit certifications preferred. (One or more certifications MBCP, CBCP, ABCP, CRISC, CISA, ISO 22301 LI/LA).
  • Exhibit excellent analytical skills, the ability to manage multiple projects under strict timelines, as well as the ability to work well in a demanding, dynamic environment and meet overall objectives.
  • Poise and ability to act calmly and competently in high-pressure, high-stress situations.
  • Executive-level written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal and collaborative skills, and the ability to communicate BCP/DR related concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Must be a critical thinker, with strong problem-solving skills
  • Minimum of 8 years of hands-on IT Disaster Recovery and/or Business Continuity experience, with at least 4 years in a management role.
  • Strong experience driving cross-organizational projects to resolution.
  • Experience working with a large global company.
  • Ability to build positive relationships across multiple stakeholders.
  • Possess a good understanding of appropriate leading-edge technologies.

What you bring


  • Knowledge of real-time modeling techniques (shaders, PBR, normal, displacement etc.)
  • Good working knowledge of and experience with facial and hair development
  • Game industry experience with 3D packages, preferably 3DSMax & ZBrush (AAA game experience is an asset)
  • Solid high & low resolution modeling and texturing skills
  • Experience in modeling of realistic human anatomy
