Purpose

Responsible for ensuring the development and delivery of comprehensive category strategies and commercial solutions that maximize value and outcomes for the organization. Lead a team that balances commercial risks and opportunities while driving results that produce responsive and reliable outcomes to our valued customers.

Accountabilities

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

• Drive continuous improvement in customer satisfaction measures
• Ensure adoption of the commercial and procurement ways of working, policies and processes within central category teams and business partners. Must collaborate across functions and business lines.
• Lead procurement teams in a diverse portfolio of spend categories to work with business owners and suppliers to find, plan and deliver opportunities through suppliers that drive better value for TDW.
• Lead development of category strategy, including building internal and external networks
• Hires, trains, coaches, counsels and evaluates the performance of direct reports

Knowledge & Experience Required

• Global categroy management 5-10 years
• Program management
• Leading teams in a matrix environment 5-10 years
• Ability to quickly adapt to transformational activities tied building procurement capabilities across the organization
• Supplier management across global categories 3-5 years
• Excellent influencing and communication skills
• Bachelor's degree in business or engineering required, MBA preferred.
• Proven expertise in managing senior level stakeholders across multiple business lines 5-10 years
