Candidate must profess a Christian Faith, maintain membership in a local congregation, and respect the values and distinctives central to the historically Baptist values of HSU as reflected in the University’s Statement of Faith.

SUMMARY/SCOPE:

The Associate Vice President for Spiritual Formation will lead and supervise the Department of Spiritual Formation by providing direction, vision, and oversight for a variety of developmental initiatives campus wide, including the weekly chapel program and the weekly small group experiences. The Associate Vice President will also look to develop new opportunities to enhance the worship, discipleship, personal development, and spiritual lives of faculty, staff, students, and alumni.
