Job Description
The Staff Pad has partnered with a healthcare clinic in Spokane, Washington that is seeking a Director of Workforce Development. As the Director of Workforce Development, you will be responsible for the overall health of the communities they serve through developing, continuously monitoring, and improving the talent experience.
Salary - $107,000-$162,000 depending on experience

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
  • Assists Workforce Development leadership with strategic planning and managing financial aspects of the department, including purchasing and budgeting activities.
  • Collaborates with internal stakeholders in conducting position analyses to evaluate internal equity, market competitiveness, and compliance of the organization’s pay practices and advises on job offers as needed.
  • Prepares and delivers presentations on related topics.
  • Develops and maintains a total rewards program in support of organizational goals and objectives to ensure our client remains competitive.
  • Provides leadership to Workforce Development team, including training and professional development of assigned staff.
  • Ensures a collaborative departmental approach to long-range strategic operational planning, care and service design and development of organizational policies, which reflect the mission of the organization.
  • Directs and manages the operational programs, services, and functions of the benefits and compensation, employee health, and talent engagement and retention teams.
  • Analyzes and makes process improvement and enhancement recommendations for existing programs, as well as recommendations for new programs.
  • Provides advice to executive leadership regarding compensation and benefit annual medical renewal and cost sharing strategy recommendation. Reviews ancillary benefits (e.g., EAP) renewals and ensure cost competitive contracts as well as competitive coverage.
  • Coordinates with and participates in employee relations, improving engagement and retention.
RequirementsEducation/Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business Administration or Human Resource Management preferred.
  • Experience in the healthcare industry preferred.
  • Minimum five years of leadership experience in human resource management required.
  • SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, HRCI-PHR or HRCI-SPHR preferred.
