DIRECTOR OF WOMEN’S BASKETBALL OPERATIONS AND PLAYER DEVELOPMENT

Primary Responsibilities

• Performs administrative duties related to the women’s basketball program
• Plans women’s basketball budget and tracks all expenses
• Assists the head coach and assistant coaches with all areas of the women’s basketball program including, but not limited to, equipment management, community service, team travel planning, and supervising student managers
• Assist with technical or tactical instruction to student-athletes related to basketball
• Implements, promotes and coordinates all Southeast Missouri State University women’s basketball camps
• Promotes Southeast Missouri State University and the athletics program through community involvement

• Bachelor’s degree
• Demonstrated knowledge of college athletics and a commitment to NCAA regulations
• Demonstrated an ability to use Microsoft programs, social media platforms, and Google Docs with the ability to learn basketball specific technology
• Ability to travel extensively with or without accommodations and work alternate work schedules including evenings and weekends
• Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to work successfully with students, faculty and community
• Demonstrated an effective ability to plan, organize, problem solve and operate in a fast-paced environment
• Demonstrated experience and understanding of customer service
