Job Description

Fahrenheit is assisting Regulus Global, a leader in systems design and execution expertise, in the search for a Director of Sales to lead their sales division. As the ideal candidate, you will have a proven track record of exceeding sales goals, leading teams, and developing innovative strategies to drive revenue growth. This is a full-time, on-site position based out of the Virginia Beach headquarters, with occasional travel required.


Established in 2012, Regulus Global specializes in providing cutting-edge equipment and best practices for implementation and sustainment to organizations, businesses, and government agencies worldwide. Their mission is to align U.S.-allied foreign militaries and law enforcement agencies' capabilities with those of their American counterparts. As the Director of Sales, you will be responsible for setting the tone for vision, strategy, and culture within the sales division, as well as furthering the existing team culture and actively managing the division.


KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs
  • Maintain compliance with internal policies and external regulations
  • Regularly attend management meetings to assess the status of current and future initiatives
  • Oversee events and attend conferences, as needed
  • Directly manage the sales pipeline across all verticals
  • Develop a focused growth strategy to meet and exceed goals defined in the Company’s strategic plan
  • Bring innovative solutions to both the development and implementation of sales plans and objectives
  • Generate and oversee all reporting, financial and non-financial, for the division
  • Participate in annual budget development and monitoring of expenses
  • Lead domestic and international sales team, making demonstrable qualitative and quantitative improvements to sales business processes, goal setting, and revenue-generation strategy
  • Participate in staffing objectives for the division in coordination with the Director of Human Resources (e.g., interviewing, hiring, new hire and ongoing training, annual evaluations, etc.)


SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong working knowledge of the industry supplier base
  • Exceptional communication and public speaking skills
  • Demonstrated willingness and ability to adapt to and embrace change
  • Outstanding leadership and organizational skills; ability to build rapport within the team and among external parties
  • Functional computer skills: working adeptly in MS Office applications and Enterprise Resource Management (ERP) systems, such as NetSuite
  • Familiarity with industry regulations and quality control standards (e.g., ISO 9001, QMS)
  • Competent collaborator and skilled cross-functional communicator
  • Proven experience as a Director of Sales or similar position with several direct reports
  • BS/BA in Business Administration or another business-related field from an accredited university; MBA preferred
  • Superior time management and planning habits
