Job Details Level Management Position Type Full Time Job Category Pharmaceutical Description Lakewood Health System has an opening for a full-time Director of Retail and Specialty Pharmacy! The Director of Retail and Specialty Pharmacy is responsible for ensuring the coordination, quality and cost effectiveness of operations provided in the retail and specialty pharmacy. Duties include but are not limited to: Maintaining knowledge and expertise of Section 340B rulings and related interpretations, including new and proposed regulations, current trends and issues. Assessing potential organizational impact of 340B changes and ensures the 340B program is continuously compliant with federal regulations. Providing oversight of retail and specialty pharmacy accreditations. Developing project plans for all aspects of assigned projects and managing project activities. Attending orientation, education, and training programs. This is a full-time position working 80 hours every two weeks. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited College of Pharmacy (Pharm.D. desired) with advanced training in business/public health/health administration/pharmacy administration, or specialized training in retail and specialty pharmacy. Currently licensed by the State of Minnesota. 3-5 years of 340B Compliance Program experience in healthcare preferred. Have a global understanding of retail and specialty pharmacy and pharmaceutical public policy. Be creative in developing and integrating innovative pharmaceutical care services. Be proficient in verbal, written, and persuasive communication. Be knowledgeable about the principles and methods of cost justification of pharmacy services.
