Director Of Research & Development

Lawrence Harvey has recently partnered with a Robotics client based in Southern Denver who are looking to add a Director of Research and Development to the leadership team.

In this role you will be responsible for a variety of tasks including:

• Participate in the writing and winning of proposals.
• Leading multi-disciplinary teams to continue building Autonomous Systems used within a variety of industries.
• Liaise with customers to understand their critical needs, then work with the Prototyping & Engineering teams to create new or make tweaks to existing products.

The ideal candidate will have a background similar to the below:

• Prior experience working within one or more of the following Robotics disciplines: Motion Control/ Motion Planning, Trajectory Planning, Perception, Navigation, Sensor Fusion or Localization.
• A background leading R&D teams, with full product lifecycle experience.
• Strong educational background within Aerospace, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (PhD preferred).
