Job Description
Director of Recruiting Operations/Assistant Coach for Women's Basketball is responsible for organizing all coaches' individual recruiting travel, including all transportation and housing needs. This also includes maintaining and updating all coaches recruiting travel as needed.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Organizes recruits' game schedules and evaluations throughout the year, especially during Evaluation Periods. Oversees recruiting mailings and graphics, assists heavily with all recruiting efforts, including Official and Unofficial visits as well as recruiting phone calls. Maintains and updates recruiting databases and software. This position will be involved with on-court demonstrations and must demonstrate on-court coaching abilities as well as be an on-campus evaluator. In addition, must perform other duties as assigned by the Head Coach.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree.
Experience: Minimum of three years of experience as a full-time assistant or head coach at National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I, II or III intercollegiate athletics. Experience organizing and coordinating all types of travel arrangements.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: Strong organizational skills.
Preferences:
  • On court coaching experience.
  • Demonstrated experience with Adobe Photoshop.
  • Strong writing skills
  • Understanding of NCAA compliance rules.
