POSITION SUMMARY
The Director of Quality and Performance will establish processes to continually monitor TSET’s programs to ensure quality and compliance standards set by the organization. This position will play a key role in using data to identify opportunities to improve outcomes for TSET, its partners, and the public.
GOALS AND WORKER ACTIVITIES
  • Establishes and manages agency impact and performance reporting to ensure quality and good stewardship of TSET’s programs and initiatives.
  • Establishes program standards to determine minimum requirements for Board approval and to set up programs and partners for success.
  • Actively supports TSET’s commitment to preventing cancer and cardiovascular disease in Oklahomans and creating healthier places for all Oklahomans to live, work, learn, and play.
  • Directs team responsible for program performance/governance, quality assurance, compliance, and data analysis.
  • Participates in RFP creation and grantee selection to ensure quality and performance meet TSET’s expectations and are achievable.
  • Collaborates with Program Architects and Program Managers to create, implement, and oversee evaluation processes aimed at improving and measuring program efficacy.
  • Monitors compliance with TSET’s standards and enforces them at the agency level.
  • Defines performance goals for agency programs and initiatives and regularly reports on progress toward those goals.
  • Implements and oversees TSET’s compliance program to ensure compliance with state agency and other contractual requirements, in addition to developing and revising the compliance plan as necessary.
  • Produces written reports, publications, and presentations concerning evaluation and quality improvement processes and findings.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS & ABILITIES
  • Ability to foster an atmosphere which recognizes and respects cultural and individual perspectives.
  • Demonstrated ability to establish program governance, oversight, and impact reporting for grant programs.
  • Demonstrated ability to assess best-practices, theories, program trends, and data to develop innovative strategies to implement programs to advance the Board’s strategic plan.
  • Ability to identify and lead continuous improvement efforts with demonstrable results.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
  • Understanding of the agency’s program areas and mission.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to manage and motivate a team.
  • Excellent analytical skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with others, including TSET staff, board members, external partners, and potential applicants.
  • Knowledge of and experience in philanthropy, the nonprofit sector, and/or state agency operations preferred.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
  • Seven years of experience in continuous improvement or a related field, including at least three years of supervisory experience
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Applicants should be based in Oklahoma and be able to report to the TSET offices in Oklahoma City. Some remote work may be allowed at the discretion of the supervisor.
SALARY RANGE: $80,000 - $90,000
