  5. Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and report on quality performance, driving timely corrective actions when necessary.
  6. Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify areas of improvement and ensure adherence to established quality standards and procedures.
  7. Manage supplier quality programs and initiatives, evaluating and selecting suppliers to maintain a high level of component quality.
  8. Interface with customers to address quality concerns, provide technical support, and drive resolution for any product-related issues.
  9. Lead root cause analysis and problem-solving efforts to resolve quality issues, implementing robust corrective and preventive actions.
  10. Drive a culture of quality and continuous improvement throughout the organization through training, workshops, and quality awareness campaigns.
  11. Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and regulations related to automotive quality, incorporating best practices into our processes.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Exceptional analytical and decision-making abilities, with a focus on data-driven problem-solving.
  • Proven track record of implementing and managing quality systems (e.g., IATF 16949, ISO 9001) and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Extensive knowledge of automotive manufacturing processes, quality methodologies (e.g., APQP, PPAP, FMEA), and problem-solving tools (e.g., 8D, 5 Whys).
  • Experience working with customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders to address quality issues and build strong relationships.
  • Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Certified Quality Manager (CQM) designation is a plus.
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in quality management within the automotive industry, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
