Salary and Benefits
This position is in Salary Grade PM7, with a minimum starting salary of $81,000 per annum. The successful candidate’s salary will be calculated based on education and experience within the grade range. This position is eligible for Northeast Community College’s excellent full-time fringe benefits package.

General Description
The Director of Public Relations oversees internal and external communications and media relations for Northeast Community College. The position is responsible for promoting a positive image of the College through timely news releases, amateur photography, development of content for publications and promotional materials, and an internal weekly newsletter in the context of the mission vision, values, and strategic direction.

Qualifications: Education
Bachelor’s degree in journalism, publications, communications or related field

Qualification:Experience
Three years journalism, publications, communications or related field, five years experience preferred

Qualification:Skills
Requires superior grammatical and proofreading skills; strong interpersonal and verbal communication skill; ability to exercise discretion and judgment; ability to work effectively, independently and as a member of the marketing and public relations team.
