Director of Procurement
- Location: South Carolina or North Carolina
- Level: Director
A global organization in the building construction space is looking for a Director of Procurement to develop and implement the strategies for commodity plans and the management of supplier relationships.
The Procurement Director will have the following responsibilities:
- Lead cross functional teams of project engineers, material suppliers, estimators, subcontractors, and more.
- Develop, implement, and align national sourcing strategies and supplier network capabilities.
- Set vision of all procurement strategies (supplier management, contract management, and more).
- Identify and select “best” suppliers in the industry per category.
The ideal candidate will have the following skill set:
- Civil or Heavy construction industry preferred
- Degree in engineering, business administration, supply chain, or related field
- Proven leadership skills
- 5-10 years of procurement experience
