Job Description

Our client is seeking a Procurement Director to join their growing business supporting their services in the defense, mission, intelligence, and government services industry.The Procurement Director will report directly to the Vice President of Contracts and Procurement.This position will be responsible for managing a team of buyers and subcontract administrators as well as working to modernize the procurement processes, procedures, templates, and infrastructure to maximize efficiencies and compliance, as well as support overall improvements in supplier and internal customer management.

Qualifications:

  • BA/BS + 10 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education, including 4 years of leadership.
  • Experience negotiating terms and conditions with suppliers and subcontractors, drafting agreements.
  • Experience supporting Contractor Purchasing System Reviews (CPSRs)
