Director of Policy and Advocacy – $80,000-$85,000 with comprehensive benefits – Concord, NH / Hybrid-working

The Role

Are you an influential communicator who believes in the power of policy to bring about social change? Do you see yourself fostering strong relationships with government agencies to break down barriers and create new opportunities for underserved communities?


The New Hampshire Community Loan Fund is a trailblazer in the Community Development Financial Institutions (CDFI) sector. As the Director of Policy and Advocacy, you will serve as our liaison at all levels of government, leading our state and federal legislative advocacy efforts. You will be responsible for developing, advancing, and implementing our policy strategy, managing relationships with elected officials and regulatory agencies, and building effective staff and board engagement.


Key Responsibilities

  • Build effective staff and board engagement.
  • Manage relationships with elected officials and regulatory agencies.
  • Build partnerships and facilitate campaigns to protect and strengthen affordable homeownership and other opportunities that benefit traditionally underserved people.
  • Lead the Community Loan Fund’s state and federal legislative advocacy efforts.
  • Develop, advance, and implement our policy strategy.
