Director Of Operations Jobs

Our client, a category leading multi-state Cannabis products company, is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee their operations in Phoenix, AZ. As Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the product development and manufacturing services for a leading Cannabis brand. In addition, the Operations Manager will work across multiple departments and provide operations leadership to ensure production goals, quality and efficiency are met in a timely manner.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Implementation of ERP system
• Ensure compliance and facility adheres to AZ State laws and regulations
• Ensure production goals are met on time and within budget
• Direct all local Manufacturing, Operations, Production, and Distribution activities for the company
• Ensure the timely launch of new products to the Market as per agreement with the Management.
• Manage all METRC activities to ensure the correct input of data
• Create and execute workforce development program that will provide appropriate flexibility of workforce and assets.
• Evaluate, develop, and refine SOPs as needed
• Build and manage a production operations team and provide leadership to operators in achieving company goals
• Manage scheduling and transportation of branded cannabis products ensuring compliance with all local, state and federal laws
• Focus on material availability, finished goods quality, and on-time delivery through optimal resource allocation
• Ensure that finished products are consistently manufactured meeting prescribed standards (compliant) with quality, safety and good manufacturing practices, on time and meeting consumer expectations.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

• Proven experience in overseeing Cannabis Manufacturing operations
• Experience with METRC
• Experience in ERP Implementation and usage
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Management, Food Science, Organizational Leadership or similar
• Strong leadership skills, attention to detail with superior communication skills
• Minimum Five (5) years in high volume CPG production environment

Compensation: $115-130K Base Salary plus health benefits and bonus potential
