Job Description
S2 Residential has an opening for a Director of Operations who will be responsible for managing a portfolio of properties in Phoenix, Arizona. This position is based in Phoenix and will require periodic travel to our home office in Dallas, TX. At S2, we invest heavily in our teams and communities and are searching for a Director of Operations who will partner with our Property Managers in driving the successful day-to-day financial, administration, marketing, sales and maintenance operations of your portfolio of communities while striving to meet our customer experience expectations.


Our ideal candidate is a problem solver, forward thinker and driven to achieve property, team and individual goals and objectives. Qualified candidates will have a minimum of 3 years’ experience as a District or Regional Manager within the multifamily industry and possess the following:


  • Ability to work independently and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to meet deadlines.
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Ability to read and understand financial statements.
  • Intermediate to advanced level knowledge with MS Office Suite including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel (including Excel functions)
  • Ability to create a climate in which team members want to do their best by leading and communicating a shared vision with employees and providing coaching and development.
  • Strong understanding of property management industry trends, issues, and emerging technology
  • Ability to travel 10-15%
  • Track record of accomplishments and high-impact results
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • ResMan experience is a plus but not required. We’ll teach you!
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
