P Osition Summary

The Director of Operational Excellence will be responsible for accelerating the pace of continuous improvement and operating company performance by leading, engaging, and coaching the broader organization in the application of best-in-class improvement principles and methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Influence annual improvement plans as a member of leadership team
• Perform financial and operations performance measurement and analysis
• Partner closely with the other business segments: Operations, Sales & Marketing, Customer Service, Engineering, Quality Assurance and Finance
• Accountable for the Operational Excellence governance, culture & initiatives across the company
• Develop the workforce on Operational Excellence principles and methodologies
• Drive progress against key metrics and project goals relative to operational performance
• Initiate, organize, and facilitate key improvement efforts or projects. Monitor results and sustainment

Qualifications

• Ability to educate and train on lean techniques
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Engineering, Supply Chain, or Operations
• 7 years of experience in a leadership role in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to consistently achieve short and long-term business results
• Good communication, facilitation, and presentation skills
• Demonstrated competency leading operational transformations
• Advanced knowledge in Lean methods and implementation
• 5 years of experience leading operational excellence projects and initiatives

P Referred Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

• Lean Practitioner Certification
• Six Sigma Green Belt Certification
• Project management experience
• Engineering background
• Master’s Degree in a related field
