Work Shift

Is responsible for effectively managing the financial, service, and quality goals of maternal child health services. Establishes annual goals for areas of responsibility that support the strategic plan. Identifies business opportunities for providing new services or enhancing existing services. Coordinates with the clinical managers to develop and manage the capital and operating budgets for areas of responsibility. Works closely with CNO to develop an effective recruitment and retention plan to ensure the staffing requirements are managed effectively. Collaborates with physicians, clinical managers and other members of the health care team to promote highly reliable and excellent quality and service outcomes. Understands and supports the professional practice of nursing.

Qualifications

Master's in Nursing or related field required.

Five (5) years progressive management experience and ability to demonstrate competency in management skills.

Five (5) years general clinical experience in specialty area.

License/Certification/Registration Requirements

Current and valid CA Registered Nurse license - California Board of Registered Nursing
