Job Description

The Director of Marketing & Communications is charged with developing, directing, and implementing all aspects of a strategic marketing program for Spokane Sports, with a specific focus on elevating the brand. The position is responsible for the overall marketing and communication strategy including brand development, media relations, content, website, presentations, proposals, social presence, and advertising for Spokane Sports.

In addition, The Director of Marketing & Communications will play a critical role in vision and strategy of key initiatives including the development of a foundation, youth sport community engagement program, signature event development, and bidding and delivery of major sports events. This position will work alongside the CEO and Senior Director, and will collaborate with the event logistics team, business development team, sport management team, and members of the marketing & communications team to achieve a common goal of being a first-rate host city while creating a meaningful economic and community impact on the region.
