About the Director of Marketing & Communications Role:

We are seeking a dynamic, creative and strategic person to lead our Marketing Department. As

Dermatology Partners is the premier Dermatology Group in the Mid-Atlantic, the Director of

Marketing & Communication is responsible for ensuring the brand continues to be strong,

recognized and respected in the community. This individual will be responsible for carrying out a

marketing strategy for both existing and future offices. They will also play a key role in the full patient lifecycle: growth, education, and retention of Dermatology Partners patients. With a focus on building

and maintaining a positive reputation for the practice and each of its providers, you will monitor our patient care capacity and lead your team to see that all clinics achieve their volume and performance targets.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Evaluate current marketing strategy and modify/implement/manage this plan for both current.

and new offices

  • B2B strategy for recruiting doctors and acquisition targets.
  • B2E (business to employees) for internal marketing
  • Implement strategy for ongoing outreach to referral sources in the medical
  • Create and manage database of referring providers and community partners for each office.
  • B2B strategy for referring providers.
  • Build brand awareness and positioning.
  • B2C strategy for patients

  • Identify and organize publicity opportunities, community events, company conferences and

trade shows

  • Oversee market research including competition, potential acquisitions and current/future.
