Responsibilities

  • Analyze monthly sales and quoting history and respond accordingly.
  • Become proficient and remain up to date with ever-changing Brand seating programs.
  • Become proficient in product details and in sharing the Southfield story.
  • Discover bid opportunities, assist in quickly turning job specifications into quotations, and follow up with clients to close on the projects.
  • Oversee keeping price lists and sales reporting updated.
  • The position will work closely with top management to formulate and execute strategies to increase sales and discover new opportunities.
  • Reach and surpass sales goals developed with management by making and closing on a targeted number of sales calls weekly.
  • Update management weekly on all new contacts made, status and potential for new business.
  • Continually target new prospects to cultivate a more significant market share.
  • The core responsibility of this position is to build strong client relationships through timely and accurate quotations and client service.


Minimum of 5 years experience working with the industry’s top hotel brands, design firms, management, and purchasing companies.


A 4-year degree is preferred, but not mandatory, given considerable proven experience in seating and hospitality sales.
