Director Of Information Technology

BBB is seeking an experienced IT professional to manage and direct our firm’s IT operations, ensuring the department provides efficient and effective technical support to our staff. This position will be based in BBB’s New York City office and will also oversee IT support for our Washington D.C. and Boston offices. This individual must have strong communication skills and be passionate about providing exceptional customer service to their internal clients.

Responsibilities

• Establishes efficiency and efficacy standards, providing recommendations for improvement of IT infrastructure.
• Manages, hires, and trains IT staff.
• Remain up-to-date on current initiatives, technical strategies, and product roadmaps to provide appropriate direction and insight into work across the company.
• Oversees security of systems, networks, and enterprise information.
• Leads development and implementation processes for the organization's IT systems and department.
• Develops and implements business continuity protocols to minimize disruption to business operations in the event of emergency situations or data loss.
• Advises leadership on strategic systems direction, operation, conversion, integration, and cybersecurity
• Schedules organizes, and assigns projects to members of the IT team.
• Analyzes IT infrastructure and systems performance to assess operating costs, productivity levels, upgrade requirements, and other metrics and needs.
• Collaborate with internal Design & Construction, Technology team, and other operations leadership on technology development for the firm.
• Develops and maintains relationships with external IT vendors and service providers.
• Facilitates IT security audits or investigations.

Required Skills, Knowledge, and Experience

• Strong leadership skills and a proven track record for employee professional development
• 10 + years of experience in an IT role, AEC experience preferred.
• High level of discretion in dealing with confidential and sensitive information.
• Experience managing a team and delegating work.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related study
• Demonstrate excellent written and oral communications skills with the ability to articulate technical solutions for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Proficient in Vantage Point and Deltek.
• Must be able to effectively prioritize and assign work to meet deadlines
• Proven collaboration skills with other internal groups

This is a full-time position with excellent benefits. The salary is commensurate with experience and ability ranging between $110,000 and $185,000 per annum, excluding bonuses and other benefits.
