Job Description
  • Manage terminations of field resources based on performance of job duties.
  • Accurate reporting of field hours to accounting and ensuring that our labor absorption levels are kept as high as possible.
  • Partner with PM teams to efficiently provide execution resources in the field for all programs.
  • Maintain Field Schedule by assigning Superintendents and Carpenters to programs and ensure we have the right resources in the right places for execution.
  • Identify & Develop training programs and classes for Superintendents and carpenters on job related tasks as well as company policies, procedures, and systems.
  • Provide leadership to Field Managers. Field Managers are eyes and ears in the field and are our best QA/QC resource.
  • Provide counseling to underperforming field personnel to get them in conformance with performance expectations.
  • Manage the schedule to ensure employees are working an agreed amount of weeks in the field while executing projects.
  • Manage ramp up and ramp down of resources for programs.
  • Assist in development, maintenance, and enforcement of company safety program and OSHA certification program.


Qualifications

  • Excellent communication, organization, planning and execution skills
  • Willing to travel nationally (auto & flight) up to 50%, overnights
  • 3-5 years of project management experience
  • 7+ years of Construction PM experience
  • Problem solving ability, resource identification and efficient management of resources
  • Exceptional social/interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Must be a self starter, motivated employee and able to work without supervision
