Job Description

The Director of Employee Experience is a pivotal role responsible for orchestrating and enhancing the holistic employee journey within Elmington. This multifaceted role encompasses talent acquisition, employee relations, office management, and the provision of strategic guidance to our leadership in cultivating a nurturing and empowering workplace culture.

Elmington's corporate office is comprised of multiple lines of business that are operated as their own living, breathing corporation. This role supports all lines of business at the corporate headquarters with a keen understanding of the varied industries and leaders of these entities providing HR leadership and Office management. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Workplace Innovation: Conceptualize and execute innovative workplace strategies that promote collaboration, inclusivity, and inspiration.
  • Candidate Experience: Create and implement a memorable and high-quality candidate experience throughout the recruitment journey.

  • Onboarding Excellence: Continuously improve and execute new employee onboarding and orientation processes.
  • Engagement Metrics: Establish methodologies to measure and evaluate engagement, proactively identifying areas for improvement.
  • Talent Best Practices: Collaborate in the design, development, and implementation of industry-leading talent practices.
  • Communication Frameworks: Develop innovative communication strategies that amplify the employee voice and enhance engagement.
  • Strategic Partnership: Establish collaborative relationships with leaders and hiring managers across our family of companies to align talent acquisition with organization goals.
  • Culture Events: Organize engaging company culture events to strengthen camaraderie, collaboration, and a sense of belonging among employees.
  • Budget Management: Efficiently manage the talent acquisition and office management budgets, optimizing both internal and external spending.
  • Employee Experience Design: Craft comprehensive frameworks that define and elevate the employee experience.
  • Culture Advocacy: Embrace and uphold our company's values and leadership behaviors, fostering a positive workplace culture.


SPECIFIC EDUCATION OR EXPERIENCE:

  • Prior management/supervisory experience required.
  • 5-7 years in Human Resources experience.
  • 5+ years in full cycle recruitment/talent acquisition experience.
  • Proven experience in employee engagement, office management, talent acquisition, and similar leadership roles.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
