Essential Job Functions and Performance Standards:

• Responsible for defining top-level vehicle electrical system, with ownership of proof of concepts through to final released designs and product validation
• Create electrical system schematics, ensuring designs are compliant with all applicable design standards
• Manage the electrical department for the Czinger vehicle program
• Lead multi-disciplinary design reviews throughout the design stage
• Position requires domestic and international travel (Canada, Europe, and the United Kingdom) approximately 4-6 times per year
• Guide a team of approximately five software engineers, three electrical engineers, and one electrical technician to deliver innovative design solutions
• Create technical reports and homologation documentation to ensure the vehicle electrical system is compliant with regulatory requirements
• DFMEA to ensure reliability and minimize any potential safety concerns from system failures
• Design failure mode and effect analysis (DFMEA) at the design stage to identify and mitigate any potential failure modes and risks

Requirements:

• Computer aided design (CAD)
• Calibration of electrical systems in high-performance vehicles
• Leading the design and development of hybrid powertrain electrical systems
• Education: Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or closely related
• Managing a team of at least five engineers working on electrical integration design activities
• Formula One design experience
• Design failure mode and effect analysis
• Experience/Skills: At least FIVE (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or at least FIVE (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the following:
