Xplor is seeking an innovative, dynamic, and growth-oriented Director of Community to lead Xplor’s impact in the Boutique Wellness industry. This key role offers an experienced leader the opportunity to build and lead the Community go-to-market strategy for Xplor globally in the Boutique Wellness industry. You’ll be part of a global team of high-performance leaders working together to build the Xplor brand and grow our businesses all the areas we play in.


As the Director of Community, you will own strategy and execution of our global Community Program. Your role is to humanize the Xplor Marian Tek brand by creating, cultivating, and connecting relationships within the Xplor Mariana Tek ecosystem. You will create organic incentives for people and businesses to join our community as well as creating opportunities to develop, grow and thrive together as a community. You will create a system of elevated brand advocates to help us tell the story of our powerful community in the most authentic way possible. You will create partnerships with brand adjacent businesses to support the development our community. Through powerful experiential moments in our key cities, we will bring our community together in ways that will celebrate our similarities as business owners and entrepreneurs. With all of this, we will support our overall marketing strategy with a high level of brand resonance and loyalty that will undoubtedly create conversion.


This exciting role is a great opportunity for a savvy fitness and wellbeing leader with a proven history of success in Community building to build a high-performing ‘engine’ that will catapult Xplor to a market leadership position in boutique wellness. The successful candidate will have a great track-record of driving community engagement. Ultimately accountable for the ‘boutique’ community performance, the Director of Community will be a key member of Xplor’s global F&W senior leadership team.


Key Responsibilities


Community Strategy


  • Identify, build, and maintain priority relationships with influential figures and organizations with the designated key cities.
  • Build partnerships with brand adjacent businesses and organizations to broaden our network and create value for our community.
  • Establish key industry relationships.
  • Works cross functionally with the marketing and sales teams to identify key city opportunities and sales targets.


Ambassador Program


  • Create development road map for the ambassador community to elevate both personal and professional development.
  • Build the global ambassador program strategy to develop a powerful promoter network and community.
  • Create connectivity between ambassadors solidifying a unique Mariana Tek community.
  • Identify key storytelling moments within the ambassador community and work with Marketing team to amplify.


Key City Experiential Strategy


  • Build an experiential strategy that can be applied to each key city and honors each city’s unique characteristics.
  • Execute events in Key cities that serve customers, instructors, prospective customers, partners and Xplor staff


Qualifications


  • Exceptional stakeholder management and Program management skills with demonstrated ability to lead and work with senior executives across the business.
  • 7+ years’ experience developing and executing a brand Ambassador program focused on customer acquisition in key cities.
  • 10+ years’ experience in a B2B/C marketing leadership capacity.
  • Proven track record of building, leading, and managing integrated campaigns across multiple channels including web, social, email, as well as in-person events and other activities.
  • 5+years of team management experience in marketing


Experience/Skills Desired


  • Experience with SaaS products and/or solution selling is desirable.
  • Detail-oriented with strong project management skills
  • Be a highly professional leader and team player with a positive, can-do attitude; must be very comfortable with continuously changing opportunities and priorities.
  • Previous success working in a matrix organization and/or cross-functional environment.
  • Experience with marketing automation tools and Salesforce CRM is an advantage.
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills to address audiences of varying seniority and relevance.
  • Previous experience working abroad or in an international capacity in a global company.


Travel: Greater than 50%
