Job Description
We are currently looking for a dynamic professional for the role of Director of Clinical Administration. The Director of Clinical Administration leads, manages and develops clinical administrative staff. The role ensures necessary resources are in place for the clinical administration team to secure student clinical and preceptor placements. This position is located on our Draper, UT campus.

What You Do Everyday


  • Monitor incoming cohort populations and participate in clinical placement forecasting
  • Monitor and audit student and clinical partner record keeping, ensuring compliance with accrediting bodies
  • Other duties as directed by supervisor
  • Communicate all aspects of clinical placements (numbers, types, etc.) through cross departmental interactions and reporting
  • Identify opportunities to improve, document and maintain clinical administration department policies and procedures with the objective of growth and scalability
  • Develop, maintain, and oversee all aspects of clinical administration communication
  • Monitor incoming and outgoing departmental correspondence
  • Coordinate affiliation agreements with clinical partners and Chief of Staff
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the number of clinical placements needed vs. available
  • Oversee and adhere to clinical administration process timeline
  • Monitor maintenance of clinical partner contact list
  • Maintain positive working relationships with clinical sites
  • Guide clinical administration activities, staffing, training, and development
  • Oversee immunization compliance
  • Partner with IT in oversight of clinical placement software systems and programs
  • Collaborate with Program Chair of Clinical Education on placement of student clinical groups and clinical site schedules
  • Act as departmental contact from clinical partner sites, coordinating with identified department leaders to ensure resolution in a swift manner
  • Monitor affiliation agreements, expiration dates, requirements, etc.
  • Support special projects as needed
  • Oversee clinical registration process in partnership with Registrar
