Responsibilities:

  • Lead weekly departmental meetings to create clarity and alignment for departmental personnel regarding shifts in organizational priorities. Ensure delivery against key initiatives.
  • Lead, manage, and coach our business development team
  • Responsible for the effective portfolio management of key accounts including but not limited to sku profitability improvement plans, transition of items, and sku rationalization.
  • Responsible for the development and execution of account-level scorecards inclusive of P&L metrics, contract adherence, and growth road-mapping.
  • Responsible for the creation and coordination of standard project management deliverables including (but not all-encompassing) the following: Project Charter & Milestone Timelines, Project Budgeting, Project RACI, Kickoff and Status Meetings
  • Coordinating internal and customer facing activities related to strategic account management
  • Partner with VP of Sales and VP of Marketing to acquire new strategic customers
  • Lead and execute continuous process improvement initiatives inclusive of the identification of root causes and the implementation of corrective actions
  • Assisting in forecasting, production planning, reporting, and inventory reconciliation for strategic accounts.
  • Inspire and maintain a culture of high performance and accountability through annual MBOs and routine performance evaluations with team personnel.
  • Lead business development department to support the start-up, on-boarding, launch, and the on-going account management of private label and contract manufacturing customers and/or new product launches.
  • Own and execute our organizational strategy of “cultivating inseparable customer relationships” with our most strategic customers. Own the on-going customer excellence post-acquisition.
  • Participate in daily thought leadership team meeting with executive team and peer cross-functional directors to ensure delivery of corporate excellence metrics.
  • Responsible for the organizational understanding, adherence, and execution of account specific contract terms
  • Establish and execute business development objectives, strategies, and tactics to support the delivery of the organizational growth objectives
  • Responsible for P&L management and business development departmental budget
  • Conduct necessary value assessment(s) post-project completion, identifying the achievement of the initial financial metrics outlined.
  • Create and/or edit documentation, FAQ’s, and training materials related to account management and project management SOPs


Qualifications:

  • Significant experience in consumer-packaged goods industry

  • Significant sales and business development experience is required, including project management (PMO certification desired), contract negotiation, portfolio management, and cross-functional engagement and management experience
