What You Will Do
  • In addition, Director-IT will be responsible for enabling Quality and Process improvements and providing and maintaining related guidelines, templates and standards
  • This is an Americas Zone based role within L’Oreal, which includes all countries where L’Oreal has a presence in North and South America, including the US, Canada, Brazil, Mexico and Argentina
  • In this role, Director-IT will be responsible for managing and actively participating in the rollout, development, support, maintenance and continuous Improvements to various ServiceNow modules, including overseeing and insuring a successful kickoff, working with applications teams and business to create requirements, project management plans, project schedules and other relevant project documentation, tracking critical path items, cutting through roadblocks and escalating issues, scheduling meetings and setting stakeholder expectations
  • Experience interacting with personnel and working on projects, products, programs and various initiatives across multiple countries, zones and continents is required
  • Director-IT will be a key contact for problem escalation and resolution, and customer satisfaction.
  • L’Oreal Americas IT4IT team is looking to add a Director-IT, reporting to AVP - IT4IT within CIO Office & Transformation, with extensive hands-on experience in ServiceNow, Project and Program management, SDLC methodologies including Agile, Quality Management, ITSM and other areas
  • Extensive experience in managing Jira to ServiceNow migration, including setup, team onboarding and training

As a member of Global Tech Factory and Process Automation
  • Drive Process Improvement, Simplification and Automation
  • Drive continuous development, rollout, testing and maintenance of Americas specific ServiceNow solutions and enhancements for ServiceNow portal, Platform, ITSM, ITBM, APM, HR, GRC, SCCM, Asset Monitoring and other modules and processes, as well as development of Integrations to Data Privacy and Monitoring tools
  • Creation, rollout and maintenance of ServiceNow operational dashboards and reports
  • Actively engage in continuous development and rollout of new ServiceNow and other capabilities such as Automation and LoCode/NoCode
  • Involvement in ServiceNow utilization monitoring and data cleansing
  • Support and verification for bi-annual rollouts of new ServiceNow versions
  • Management of new module and process rollouts in ServiceNow
As a member of Americas IT4IT as part of Americas CIO Office and Transformation
  • Creation and maintenance of technical Knowledge Management articles to improve incident resolution SLAs
  • Active role in Americas ServiceNow Governance process – ServiceNow related request and demand management
  • Manage close interaction and expectations management with the Business in Sustainability Department for the development, rollout, enhancements and support of ever-growing library of Sustainability Workflows in ServiceNow
  • Provide ServiceNow portal and ServiceNow general and specific “how-to” training, including Agile capabilities. Creation and maintenance of related training materials.
  • Build and develop relationships across L’Oreal Americas and the Globe, ensuring Zone & Global leaders, stakeholders and external partners are aligned with L’Oreal standards and processes.
  • Actively participate in defining and monitoring KPIs, KVIs and other performance indicators
  • As a member of IT4IT, Director-IT is expected to continually advance and improve CIO Office initiatives
  • Act as Americas Zone Process Owner for Service Request and Service Level Management as part of ITSM Process Management
  • Actively participate in ServiceNow operational support (incidents, requests for group and user management, Platform technical assistance, data extracts, etc.)
Required Qualifications
What We Are Looking For:
  • ServiceNow certification is a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Services, Business or equivalent experience.
  • The optimal candidate will have over 15 years of Information Systems experience as well as extensive experience in using a formal SDLC Methodology, including Agile
  • Experience with project management, Agile and collaboration tools
  • Superior organization and time management skills
  • Project Management Institute (PMI) or other IT industry project management certification is a plus
  • Ability to interface with various levels of management
  • Outstanding customer service and interaction skills, as well as excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Experience working in a Global IT organization
  • Ability to work independently under little supervision within a demanding client centric environment
  • ITIL Certification is a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to be a team player with a high level of initiative
