Director Global Sourcing Jobs

Director, Strategic Sourcing plays a critical role in the identification and development of supplier base in USA.

Work closely with New Product Development and Engineering in managing electronic, electro-mechanical and mechanical components from RFQ stage, business award, and prototype through serial production.

High visibility , reporting to VP Supply Chain. This is a brand new role and critical role, focusing on sourcing and procurement support for product categories / projects.

BE the bridge between Procurement Supply Chain, Engineering and Executive Leadership. Very visible role with upward career opportunities in Operations or Supply chain – the backbone of this company which has tripled in size and doing over $1B in sales while remaining a lean, agile

Ideal qualifications:

• Drive need for developing new suppliers in North America to meet new product development needs as they focus on alternative energy and EV markets.
• Successful track record working closely with Product Managers and NPI Engineering finding suppliers to while maintaining quality, delivery, and cost.
• BS/BA with MBA preferred in Supply Chain or Logistics or Engineering or Business.
• Ability to lead diverse teams to develop innovative ideas and implement them.
• Sourcing experience in hardgoods including mechanical, electronic and electro-mechanical components from North America
