Job Description
Location: On-Site at Corporate Office (Springfield, MO)


The Director of Continuous Improvement provides leadership, direction, and oversight of continuous improvement efforts for improved operational efficiency. Responsible for developing, leading, and reviewing all continuous improvement initiatives to ensure that they provide financial savings and sustainable process improvement.


Essential Job Functions


  • Work closely with cross-functional departments to design new products with quality and manufacturability embedded from design to mass production.
  • Support initiatives to optimize incoming, in-process, and outgoing quality control methodologies.
  • Identify, plan, and oversee key projects to improve quality, reduce cost, and increase productivity.
  • Deploy and maintain quality policies, procedures, and quality control system in an effort to implement process metrics.


Experience


  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including experience in statistical analysis coupled with the ability to provide objective feedback and accurate root cause analysis
  • Excellent project management skills and proven track record of driving change and delivering results
  • Continuous Improvement, Six Sigma Black Belt, and/or Kaizen Certification
  • Minimum of 7 years of continuous improvement experience including 5 years in a leadership role
  • Expertise in business process management software skills
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business Management, Operations or related field required
