Role Description

The Direct Support Worker role is a full-time or part-time role, located in the Portland, Oregon Metropolitan Area. This role involves providing assistance to individuals with Intellectual / Developmental Disability (I/DD), supporting them in their daily living activities, and helping them to achieve their goals and aspirations. Duties include transportation, behavioral support, documentation, and participation in inclusive community activities.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to provide personal care as needed
• Demonstrated reliability and dependability
• Valid driver's license and good driving record
• Must pass a criminal background check and drug test (not for cannabis)
• Prior experience in caregiving, healthcare, preferred but not required
