As a key player in our procurement function, you'll take the lead in spend analytics, ensuring accurate data to drive strategic sourcing and vendor management efforts.
Responsibilities
Shape the future of our procurement strategy by providing expert guidance on spend management and procurement metrics.
Analyze procurement spend data, leveraging innovative tools and techniques to identify opportunities for cost optimization across categories and commodities.
Collaborate with the procurement team and finance department to establish robust processes and controls for managing procurement spend on a global scale.
Support our procurement and supply chain associates with financial analysis for supplier contracts, driving improved performance and outcomes.
Negotiate with suppliers to secure cost-effective agreements that align with business objectives.
Conduct thorough business impact analyses to ensure all financial terms and commitments are well understood by the company.
Stay ahead of industry trends by sourcing benchmark and market data to enhance our spend analysis effectiveness and overall procurement performance.
Foster a strong relationship with our finance organization, maximizing synergy between the teams.
Develop and report on procurement and supply chain performance metrics, including cost savings and cost avoidance initiatives.
Lead and collaborate with stakeholders on cost reduction and cost avoidance programs, ensuring we are continuously striving for excellence.
Conduct supplier financial health analysis and risk assessments, promoting sound supplier management practices.
Monitor and provide oversight for procurement savings programs, promptly addressing any deviations from plans.
Provide strategic leadership to third-party managed service providers supporting spend management and procurement metrics.
Contribute to strategic supplier analysis and evaluations to support business requirements for potential mergers and acquisitions on an ad hoc basis.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in finance or equivalent work experience.
At least ten years of experience in finance, procurement, or supply chain within a large corporate environment.
Proven expertise in working with technology suppliers, strategic supplier management, negotiations, and purchasing.
Strong financial modeling and analysis skills, with the ability to make data-driven recommendations.
Exceptional leadership qualities, capable of gaining the trust and confidence of subordinates, peers, and senior management.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
Thrives in a fast-paced and ever-changing industry environment.
