Job Description

PGR Media is an Independent and Woman owned agency with offices in Boston and New York.We build media strategies for well-known brands within Ecomm, Travel, Petcare, Retail, Fashion, Luxury, Beauty, Finance and Healthcare. This position is based in Boston and is hybrid (min 2 days in office).


THIS IS NOT AN ENTRY LEVEL POSITION - MUST HAVE 2-3 YEARS OF MEDIA PLANNING & BUYING EXPERIENCE TO BE CONSIDERED.

The Senior Digital Planner is responsible for developing successful media strategies and the implementation and maintenance of digital media campaigns. The ideal candidate will be curious, resourceful, have an entrepreneurial attitude, ability to multi-task and be detail oriented. This person will have strong written and verbal communication skills, a solid work ethic and a passion for numbers/reporting.We are seeking someone who is confident, professional, articulate and a team player. The candidate will handle day-to-day communication with vendors foreseeing campaign set-up, implementation and pacing. Someone who keeps up to date on the current and evolving digital landscape will be instrumental. This position requires an individual to strategically think and problem solve while paying meticulous attention to detail.

Responsibilities

·Develop, negotiate, and execute media plans for various clients

·Utilize media research and planning tools (MRI, ComScore, etc.) to research audience and competitive information to generate data and drive key insights and strategies

·Develop and maintain planning timelines, client status documents and creative spec sheets to ensure accuracy and timeliness

·Act as a primary client contact, understanding client goals and optimizing success through research and analysis

·Ability to analyze data and have a strong understanding of campaign performance and provide insightful optimization recommendations

·Issue IOs, buy authorizations and assist finance department for any budget reconciliations

·Implement campaign execution, trafficking and pacing reports including pre/post-launch QA to ensure campaigns run smoothly and efficiently

·Build expertise in agency tools, including DCM (tag creation and implementation), Google Analytics, and other 3rd party or proprietary reporting/analytics tools

·Demonstrated interest in keeping up with emerging technologies and the digital marketing providing POVs when needed

·Prioritize and manage flow of work to ensure timely delivery of projects

·Delegate and oversee responsibilities/tasks for Assistant Planners & Coordinators

Requirements

·2-3+ years of hands-on experience in social strategy, execution & optimization of social media.Must have hands on experience working in platforms

·Experience in both digital and traditional media is a plus

·Working knowledge of basic media concepts, terminology, media math, and media plan execution

·Experience using Syndicated Media Tools (comScore), 3rd party Ad Serving Tools (DCM), Facebook Ads Manager

·A strong working knowledge of Excel (VLOOKUP & Pivot Tables) and PowerPoint
