Publishing.com helps normal, everyday, people create meaningful streams of income with books. We are an online-education company that teaches our students how to sell books and audiobooks on Amazon and Audible. We aren’t for authors, but for anyone that would like to create consistent streams of passive income.

Our goal is to be the one-stop shop for everything publishing related. This year we are making massive strides towards achieving this goal by launching our own software. The better we make our products and the more support we give our students, the better we can help them achieve their financial goals.

About the Role:

Publishing.com is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Full-time Digital Content Writer for Blogging, Social Media, and PR to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience and possess exceptional writing and editing abilities. This role requires strong project management and time management skills to effectively create engaging and impactful content for our blog, website, social media platforms, etc. The successful candidate will have a passion for storytelling, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Direct response copywriting, PR knowledge, and familiarity with AI content generation tools, demonstrating an ability to leverage technology in content creation is a PLUS.

About the Team:

The marketing team consists of 7 core members and growing. Our current team mostly works on ad production, paid advertising placement, and funnel optimization. We are looking to expand into other marketing strategies, such as blogging, SEO, and social media. You will work closely with the director of digital marketing to build the blogging and content writing strategy for our organic marketing efforts.

What You’ll Work On:

  • Content/Copy Creation and Curation:
  • Assist with light direct response copywriting for our website, landing pages, products, etc.
  • Create periodic written content for PR materials, such as press releases, interviews, etc.
  • Produce high-quality written content for our blog and social media channels, adhering to brand guidelines and style.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information and insights for content creation.
  • Research and generate compelling blog topics relevant to our target audience and industry trends.
  • Editing and Proofreading:
  • Review and revise existing content to optimize its performance and relevance.
  • Edit and proofread content to ensure accuracy, clarity, grammar, and adherence to brand voice.
  • Ensure consistency and quality across all content channels and platforms.
  • Project Management:
  • Monitor and track content performance using analytics tools, making data-driven recommendations for improvement.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to gather input and feedback, ensuring timely content delivery.
  • Develop and maintain an editorial calendar, managing content production schedules and deadlines effectively.

  • Understanding of social media platforms, trends, and strategies to effectively engage and grow audiences.
