Position Summary
The Digital Content Specialist manages the content of ECS' websites and social media channels (ECS, PBISApps and the Center on PBIS). This includes:
- Formatting content for the web using a Content Management System (CMS)
- Writing social media posts
- Assessing site content needs and collaborating with stakeholders to plan and organize new content
- Designing graphics for the web
- Analyzing/reporting metrics
- Planning/implementing social media campaigns
This position ensures that digital content is compliant with copyright and Section 508.
The position will collaborate with other teams and stakeholders, including researchers, regarding digital content for the web through cross-team projects and committee work.
The Digital Content Specialist uses complex content systems to track large amounts of information, which requires both design and technical skills.
The Digital Content Specialist reports to the Marketing and Design Manager.
Eligible for Hybrid Work, Local to Primary Work Location: This position has been identified as hybrid-eligible; some work may be accomplished remotely.
Minimum Requirements
- An equivalent combination of training and experience.
- Two years of experience as an administrative specialist or executive support specialist which included administrative support for a project, program, or operation. Administrative support includes those duties beyond clerical/secretarial such as interpretation of laws, rules, and regulations; administrative data collection and analysis; and evaluation of projects, processes, and operations; OR
One year of postsecondary education may be substituted for up to one year of experience.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience creating social media campaigns.
- Knowledge of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and keyword research.
- Experience or interest in digital video editing.
