Job Description
DIETARY AIDE Do you have a true passion for providing care to seniors in their time of need? Morning Pointe Senior Living is looking for people to show genuine care to our residents and associates in a positive family atmosphere. The work we do is meaningful every day- and our teams look provide residents with the highest quality of care in all their efforts. Role The Dietary Aide is an integral part of the kitchen and dietary team under the supervision of the community Food Service Director. Our best Dietary Aides are people who:


  • Appropriately secure kitchen and equipment when applicable
  • Demonstrate dependable work habits
  • Enjoy staying busy and look for opportunities to improve the work area Experience Requirements
  • Must be able to read, write, understand, and communicate in the English language
  • Promptly bus tables after meals and reset tables for next meal with silverware/stemware/coffee mugs/cloth napkins. Replace clean tablecloth toppers when needed
  • Follow safety regulations and precautions at all times
  • Contribute to an encouraging servant-leader culture and environment
  • Love to keep things clean, organized, and have everything in its place
  • Assist with preparation of meals including refilling condiments, brewing coffee and tea, and other duties as assigned
  • Be a great team player and help others to serve our residents
  • Previous kitchen experience preferred, but not required Regular Duties and Responsibilities
  • Responsible for assisting with the daily cleaning and weekly deep cleaning of the kitchen dish room, pantry, and dining room
  • 18 years of age or older and high school diploma or GED
  • Proper dress, conduct, and professionalism is to be evident at all times
  • This position may require exertion of 50-100 pounds of force occasionally and other lesser lifting as required.

  • Verify meal requests of residents and communicate same with cook
