Job Description

We are looking for a kick-ass Webmaster / Hosting / Security Specialist to join our family of leading-edge creatives. The ideal candidate will be able to work remotely and will have experience with below skills.

Experience:

Must have at least 1-2 years of experience in hosting, security, backups & recovery, performance tuning and optimization.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining, updating, and optimizing servers.
  • Maintaining and testing client websites.
  • Determining client website architecture needs and requirements.
  • Updating website content and reviewing SEO.
  • Configuring hosting environments.
  • Implementing and ensuring website security and data protection.
  • Troubleshooting support tickets
  • Working with data center for a seamless experience for clients.
  • Configuring Cloudflare settings.
  • Addressing and responding to user comments and complaints.
  • Monitoring and analyzing site performance.
  • Testing backups and restores
  • Coordinating with engineers, data center, developers, and management.

Qualifications:

  • Great understanding of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Paid Per Click (PPC).
  • Analytical and problem solving skills
  • Ability to troubleshoot website issues in a fast-paced environment.
  • Curious, quick to learn, and receptive to constructive criticism.
  • Highly proficient in HTML, XHTML, CSS design, cross-browser and cross-platform compatibility, firewalls (functionality and maintenance), Access, mySQL and JavaScript.
  • Highly methodical, accurate, and determined.
  • 2 years of work experience as a Website Manager.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, listening skills, and an articulate presenter
  • Ambitious and driven for yourself, Socialfix, and our clients.
  • Previous experience in a similar role preferred, but not required.
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Extremely organized and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Must maintain current certifications with Google Analytics Academy
  • Must be proactive.
  • Proficiency with Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager
  • Expert knowledge of LAMP, WordPress CMS and other frameworks and W3C Web standards.
  • Strong attention to detail with an analytical mind and outstanding problem-solving skills.
  • A degree or relevant classes in Computer Science, IT, Systems Engineering or related qualification.
