ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY. The Development Analyst will support all development functions over a diverse group of real estate assets, including financial analysis & reporting, acquisitions, dispositions, and development. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:

• Assisting land acquisition, including initial underwriting, gathering due diligence materials, and tracking contract timelines.
• Review real estate purchase and sales agreements and related documents to prepare transaction summary reports for escrow tracking.
• Assist with the tracking of timelines and schedules for active projects
• Support all development functions, including market analysis, underwriting, financial analysis, planning, construction, builder sales, etc.
• Assist with asset dispositions by gathering, reviewing, and creating necessary due diligence items.
• Assist in the creation and maintenance of detailed financial models. Including regular updates to the JV Business Plan with variance reports, KPI tracking, and forecasting.
• Assist with Land Development budget tracking, monthly draw approvals
• Working with the accounting team to support financial reporting to JV partners

WHAT YOU NEED. To be successful in this role, the Development Analyst will have:

• Strong competency with Excel or other modeling software.
• Understanding of real estate transactions and development is preferred.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Highly motivated self-starter.
• Minimum 3 years financial analysis experience.
• Able to work independently and as a part of a team.
• Strong oral and written communication abilities.
