Job Description
Position: Desktop Support Technician II
Location: Charles City, IA 50616
Duration: 4 Months contract to hire.
Pay Rate: $ 27-28/Hourly/W2
Shift: Monday thru Friday, 8am to 5pm.
Conversion rate? $23-$24
Primary Day-to-day Responsibilities
  • Good trouble shooting skills both HW and software.
  • Responsible to ship and track equipment to remote users and track returns documenting everything in the ticket. Must be able to follow documented instructions.
  • Will be expected to document work. Will provide Break-Fix support, changing system boards, hdds, laptop LCDs etc.
  • Will work with service now ticketing system, support Lenovo Laptops, and a mix of Network printers.
  • Level II IMAC Receiving equipment, unboxing and deploying (set up, breakdown).

  • Attention to detail and good communication skills (verbal and written)
Requirements
  • Lenovo warranty certifications a plus
  • A+ CERTIFIED or willing to obtain within 60 days after conversion to Compucom, training and vouchers available after conversion.
  • At least 2 years of experience
