PRIMARY PURPOSE
We are currently accepting applications for an architectural designer for our Indianapolis, IN office. This position allows entry level architects the opportunity to utilize their design and rendering skills in a corporate environment while also learning about the retail industry and mixed-use development business.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES
A. While working under the direct supervision of an architect the Designer performs a broad variety of design tasks including drawing, modeling, rendering and graphic design work.
B. Specific tasks include, but are not limited to:

• Creating 3D models in Rhino and/or SketchUp
• Updating design criteria in InDesign
• Creating or modifying schematic site plans and schematic building plans.
• Rendering 2D and 3D models with Enscape and/or photoshop
• Preparing 2D and 3D presentation drawings

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS
A. Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities

• A working knowledge of AutoCAD and 3ds Max a plus
• A proficient working ability in Rhino and/or SketchUp and Adobe Suite

B. Required Experience and Education

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture, from an accredited University. Other related fields of study, including interior design and landscape architecture may be considered based on portfolio examples.
• 1 to 3 years of project work experience in an architect’s office.
