Design Center Specialist Jobs

Residential Home Builder, William Ryan Homes, is seeking a hard-working, dedicated Design Center Specialist to join our Dallas-Ft. Worth team. The person in this position will be committed to assisting new homeowners in selecting options and interior finishes for their new home. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Scheduling appointments and file preparation
• Accurately completing all required customer selections and uploading information into company database
• Other duties as assigned
• Maintain an organized, user friendly, up-to-date, and comprehensive Selections Center
• Guiding homeowner through selections process

Qualifications

• Ability to read and comprehend blueprints and specifications
• Must be able to work independently to meet deadlines
• Knowledge of Design, Colors and Materials, understanding trends
• Advanced technology skills, including Microsoft Windows, Outlook, Excel
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills
• Ability to learn all company product lines, included features & available options.
• Must be detail-oriented, organized and focused on accuracy
• Ability to build and maintain good vendor relationships

Other Experience

• Experience with residential construction database system & Envision preferred
• Minimum two (2) experience in the Design field, Associates Degree in Design; or equivalent experience
• Must be able to accommodate customer needs by working flexible hours which may include nights or weekends.
