Job Description
Description:

Responsible for administering the day-to-day activities of the office, including; patient and employee relations; staff interviewing/dismissal; ensuring regulatory compliance; staff training and motivation. Assist the team with other tasks as assigned.

Specific Duties

  • Present treatment plans to patients.
  • Know and follow dental office contingency plan.
  • Assisting the managers with managing the day to day activities of the office. Including staff scheduling.
  • Respond to clinical and operational issues in a timely manner and professional manner.
  • Help assist with creating and implementing an effective office budget.
  • Experience working with data entry software such as Dentrix and maintaining reports.
  • Manage patient financial accounts.
  • Manage compliance with OSHA, state and federal regulations.
  • Excellent computer skills and e-mail correspondence, financial transactions, and scheduling appointments.
  • Complete administrative functions including bank deposits, staff payroll and invoice processing.
  • Manage the hiring and ongoing performance of staff.
  • Assist with managing direct staff assignments and activities, in accordance with office policies.
Requirements:
  • Must be friendly, professional and highly organized
  • Three (3) - Five (5) years of previous management experience required
  • High School diploma
  • Associate's degree in Business or a related field or seven (7) years of related experience
  • Must be available to work Mondays and Thursdays until close
  • Solid understanding of dental billing and insurance procedures
  • Must be available to travel between the three office locations
  • Dedicated to delivering excellent customer service
  • Must be available to work one weekend a month
